History and Architecture:
For the period from 1912 to 1915 the (Church) school was the sole occupant of the church hall. This was to change as on Sunday 27 June 1915 the little church officially opened its doors for the inaugural service led by Fr Veal.
The Vicar committed to holding monthly services in the new church. The Vicar and his helpers were now faced with the task of weekly converting the school, with its 80 desks and other teaching paraphernalia, into a church for the Sunday service. The addition of the enclosed front porch was designed by a parishioner who had some architectural experience.
The current Church was opened on Saturday 11th October 1952 after the Church was burnt down of Friday 16th December 1949.
