A Foundation stone reads, " This stone was laid by Josiah Mullens Esq 17th October 1903 to commemorate the extension of this Sunday School. A further Foundation stone on the left hand side of the building reads, " This stone was laid by Mr Benjamin Morris 17th October 1903 to commemorate this extension of this Sunday School".
