History and Architecture:

The Quirindi Parish was created when it was separated from the Gunnedah Parish in 1882. The first service in the newly-constituted Parish of Quirindi was held 1st November, 1882 in the Union Church Chapel.  In the service, the Rev. A.W. King recorded that ‘the congregation was good, the weather was fine and the collection amounted to ₤1-11-10’. A full history can be seem on the church website here.
