History and Architecture:
In September 1896 a Mr. Stone moved "that a new church be erected at a cost of not more than £200." At a meeting on November 1, 1901, a tender from Thomas E. Bursill for £237, for the erection of a Church , was accepted , work, to be completed by January 31, 1902.
