History and Architecture:
The Roma Church of Christ began its journey of faith with regular meetings on 16 October 1888. The Church was born from a visit from American Church of Christ evangelist Austin Mordaunt.
An historical plaque in the grounds reads, The historic Church Bell was first installed as a church bell in October 1876 at the then Congregational church in Arthur Street, Roma. The Roma Church of Christ purchased the Congregational Church building and hell in August 1896. During the Second World War, the hell-was moved to t he original Church 01. Christ minister's residence in William Street to serve as an air raid alarm.
