History and Architecture:
Formerly a Methodist church it was built in 1861 for a cost of 10.00. All the materials were provided free by local residents. It was used as the local school until that building was erected in 1870.
Extensions were carried out in 1869 for a cost of 250.00. The porch was added in 1929.
