History and Architecture:
The Builder of the original Church was Mr Dinning. A Captain Baxter brought 40 or 50 tonnes of stone from Sydney free of charge.
A plaque reads, "This building was opened on 26 February 1866. To the Glory of God by Rev W Curnow the alteration & additions being dedicated on 16th September 1979 by Rev Winston O'Reilly OBE, MA, M Ed, Dip Soc Stu. MACE President Uniting Church in Australia Rev Barry Fairfax L ThL Rev Robert H Wyndham Dip R E Ministers.
A tablet on the stone fence reads, "To the Glory of God in loving memory of George Roweth erected by his wife 1952".
