History and Architecture:
St. Arnaud’s first Presbyterian minister, Rev. Hugh McKail, held early services in homes and hired halls, until the council granted land for a church and Manse. This church was designed by Charles Vickers, features an impressive bell tower and spire with a steep roof clad in slate.
