History and Architecture:

A Foundation stone reads, " To the Glory of God and to honor those who served in the Great Wars of 1914 - 1918 and 1939 - 1945 this stone was laid by The Rt Rev R.C. Kerle B.A. ThL Bishop CoadJutor on the 22nd August 1964. Rev C.N. Steele ThL Rector H.B. Allen C.J. Doyle C.B. Kidson Church Wardens".
 
The Church was known previously as St John The Baptist War Memorial Church of England.
