A Foundation stone reads, " This stone was laid by The Right Rev J.D. Langley D.D. 26th November 1913 Assisted by Mrs S. Pogue" A plaque on the front gate post reads, " To the Glory of God and in memory of Chaplain Charles H. Patmore who paid the supreme sacrifice Feb 1942"
