History and Architecture:
The first service in the then Presbyterian Parish of Waverley was held in the Oddfellows Hall, Church Street, Waverley on 17 January 1885. A site for the new church was soon selected and purchased in Victoria Street and on 7 November 1885. The Cornerstone of the first Presbyterian Church in Waverley was laid by Mrs. William Grahame.
A Foundation stone reads, " Grahame Memorial Presbyterian Church Waverley this stone was laid by Mrs William Grahame "Strathearn" Waverley 8th May 1897 Rev John Macaulay MA Minister".
