History and Architecture:
The first entry in the records of the church is dated Sunday, August 11, 1861, and states that the Rel, Samuel Hamilton, after divine service, convened a public meeting of persons interested in the formation of a Presbyterian congregation in the township of Whittlesea. This meeting was held at 6 p.m. on Monday, August 19 in the Farmer's Arms.
The Church was built in 1863.
