Biography:

Born New Cumnock Ayrshire Scotland. In 1884 he sailed for Queensland. Had private tutoring by Rev W V Young (Ipswich). Placements were Sept 1886 Lanefield (Rosewood) and Marburg, 1889 ? Wharf Street, assistant to Rev. W. Whale, 1889 Petrie Terrace, assistant to W. Moore sole pastor from Nov 1890 - resigned ca 1899 due to ill health - left the state
