Formerly a Methodist church it was erected at Brundah Creek in 1887 and moved to its current site in 1916. Closed for regular services in 1969 it now forms part of the Uniting Church.

Gala Kirk was built in 1845 & is the oldest church in Glamorgan/Spring Bay Municipality. As early as 1844, a meeting was held to build a church & as many of the residents were Scots, they decided on a Presbyterian Kirk. A gift of 5 acres of land was made by Adam Amos of Glen Gala.
Cressy, VIC - St Andrew's Uniting

The foundation stone was laid in 1911 by Mrs John Nelson of Kilernie and the building opened in 1913, together with a new manse that has since been destroyed. The boarded decoration in the gable of the faade and porch has since been removed. The interior includes several stained glass windows and its original pulpit and pews.

Several foundation stones appear to have been laid on 6 June 1912. They include one by Si Day H Bosanquet Governor of South Australia. The others include one by Mr J.C. Symons, Mr F.J Johnson and Reverend Henry Howard. The adjacent Hall was opened in 1967.
